ANCESTRAL
kungfu
Until the end of Imperial China, there were masters whose fighting techniques and physical abilities bordered legend. Even during old age they could perform great feats, and their bodies remained flexible, mobile, and hard as steel.

Today, we rarely see anything like it
and so the question arises:

Why do today's practitioners not possess those
capacities of the teachers from the past?

The answer is simply that the methods of practice have deeply changed.
With China's entry into "modernity" Kungfu began to adopt new western concepts of training.
Its practitioners gradually abandoned the old methods or changed their approach, to the point of losing the results obtained by previous generations.

With this in mind and almost a decade of practice behind me, I began my personal journey of research and discovery towards the origins of Kungfu.
"Wuyidao World, Ultimate Kungfu" is the fruit of these first 20 years of travel.

Why we are different
Currently most Kungfu schools support their curriculum on the practice of "forms" ( Taolu ), and / or on "combat sports" ( Sanda or Sanshou ), and / or on modern western training.
This results in a kind of Frankenstein, an unnatural and inefficient creation, composed of parts that do not completely fit together, because they do not have the same basic theoretical structure that unifies them and creates synergy between them.
Unlike this current situation, old Kungfu had for long been perfecting an integrated training system, that was based on three fundamental pillars, united by a common structural theory:

Gong Fa 功 法
Specific Physical Training

Quan Fa 拳法
Technical Training

Jiji Fa 技 击 法
Combat Methods

Our teaching programs have been designed using the same organic and rational approach that the schools of the old days used - progressing gradually and methodically, ensuring a true understanding and mastery of this valuable knowledge.
Within our technical curriculum we teach different styles, belonging to four great "schools" or Kungfu "branches":

Norte de China

Shaolin

Wudang

Military
